Stan Bush - The Touch Transformers 2

May 15, 2009. After over 20 years, legendary rocker Stan Bush has remade his classic Transformers anthem "The Touch" into an all new song for 2009 and hopeful consideration for Michael Bay's "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Pop/rock singer Stan Bush has re-recorded his 1986 song "The Touch" with the hopes that it will be used as one of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" anthems. The remake version of the track is titled "The Touch: Sam's Theme" and claimed to "capture the indomitable spirit of hero Sam Witwicky."

A music video for the song, which original version is featured in the first "Transformers" film, has also been outed. Directed by Art Douglas with its cinematography and visual effects by Shian Storm, the video features Stan singing to the song and scenes from Shia LaBeouf-starring movie intercepting. Up to date, it is yet to be confirmed if the track is chosen to be in the film or not.

Stan Bush is not the only musician who wants to score music for the movie as Robert Epps' depicter, Tyrese Gibson, also plans to make a contribution to it. Tyrese wants to make a duet with Jewel Kilcher.

While no green lights have been given to the two musicians regarding their desire of scoring the film's theme song, Linkin Park have been billed to craft a song for the movie. They call it "New Divide" and will release it on radios as well as iTunes on May 18.

"Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" itself will come out in U.S. on June 24. It features the likes of Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, Isabel Lucas and Rainn Wilson in addition to Shia LaBeouf and Tyrese Gibson.
