November 07, 2009 Kris Allen has debuted a music video in suport of "Live Like We're Dying", the lead single off his upcoming debut album. Unlike Adam Lambert's "Time for Miracles" video which is full of explosion, this new video mainly showcases Kris' talent as he strums his guitar and plays the piano. October 26, 2009 What songs will be included for Kris Allen's eponymous studio album "Kris Alen" have been revealed. Kris is involved in the songwriting proces of several tracks, such as "Alright With Me" which he pened with Joe King of The Fray.

Kris also wrote solo in a song called "Red Guitar". His rendition of Kanye West's "Heartles" is offered as a bonus track. Moreover, there is also another Walmart extra track titled "Send Me All Your Angels."

Led by single "Live Like We're Dying", Kris' self-titled album will be released across United States on November 17. But, fans will have a chance to hear a portion of the album at the Dolphin's Tailgate Stage this coming Sunday, October 25 as the winner of "American Idol" season 8 is confirmed to sing his new songs at the event.

In addition, Kris Allen is also scheduled to perform at New York City's Z100 Christmas Ball this year. At the December 11 gig, he will be joined by David Archuleta, Jordin Sparks, Taylor Swift, John Mayer, Justin Bieber, The Fray, Boys Like Girls, Pitbull, Owl City and Jay Sean.

September 17, 2009 Snippet of Kris Allen's first single!. Live Like We’re Dying is the first by the winner of the eighth season of American Idol, Kris Allen, from his debut which is due on November 17.
It has been confirmed that his new single will be released sometime during the end of September.
The song was a written by Irish pop rock band The Script.

You can listen here the 20 second snippet of the song aired earlier today on a radio station in Little Rock, AR.

Kris Allen will release the album in U.S. on November 17. He works with The Calling's vocalist, Alex Band and will enter studio with Kevin Rudolf in October. He is also said to work with The Fray's guitarist Joe King and acclaimed producers Salaam Remi (Nas, Amy Winehouse) and Claude Kelly (Leona Lewis, Akon).
