Hailing from Moscow, Dzham is one of the biggest hip hop stars of the Eastern Bloc. After 4 albums released in his native tongue, he's now got his sights set on the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world, and will be loudly announcing his arrival with the tongue-in-cheek "I'm From Russia".

With a self-deprecating lyrical flow and highly amusing video, "I'm From Russia" is an introductory release that leaves little room for misunderstanding. Dzham is a hip hop artist who can and has covered serious subject matter, but as this release indicates, he's also fully prepared to have some fun. An astute observer of his environment, Dzham's music tends to reflect both the good and the bad sides of the Russian way of life: dark suburbs and luxury clubs, family problems and criminal atmosphere. All of this has influenced him to become a rap artist whose poetry is based on the things that surround him every day, the life he knows.

Dzham has consistently collaborated with the most famous Russian DJs and artists, and is a permanent presence on MTV Russia. He writes all of his own lyrics and has worked with beat makers and producers from all over the world in search of the perfect sound. Having recently collaborated with UK urban artists such as Sway (on Red Handed) and Ironik (on Slow Down), Dzham is no stranger to the UK Hip Hop scene. He has a collection of highly credible tracks that will make up his first English language album and has further collaborations in the pipeline with Timberland and Kardinal Offishall amongst others. In addition, Dzham has also worked with famous American producer Jim Beanz who produced Every Day, a track from his last album.
