June 01, 2009 DAUGHTRY's forthcoming music video for their new single "No Surprise" has been partially revealed through a short snippet. In addition to showing the band's performance, the sneak peek also gives a look at a waitress who accidentally spills a drink on her customer's dress.

May 06, 2009 A brand new song "No Surprise" from DAUGHTRY, has just been unveiled. Co-penned by Chris and Nickelback's singer Chad Kroeger, the track will serve as the first single from the rock band's upcoming second studio album. It will be performed live on-stage for the first time in forthcoming result show of "American Idol" on May 6.
"It's no surprise I won't be here tomorrow," so read part of the track's lyrics sung by vocalist Chris Daughtry. "I can't believe that I stayed till today/Yeah you and I will be a tough act to follow/But I know in time we'll find this was no surprise." The complete lyrics can be found on the band's official website.
DAUGHTRY eye to drop the follow up to their 2006 eponymous debut album "DAUGHTRY" across United States on July 14. They promise to bring in "more gritty sounds" in the not-yet-titled effort, which is recorded in Los Angeles.

    I HATE YOU DAUGHTRY okay no I don't I love you but im jeleous cause my singing is so terrible, my dreams of singing were shattered when I really listened to my own recording then listened to this XD I sold my guitar my sound board everything I had musical I sold and gave up all hopes and dreams of ever being a musician lol and I burned my demo LOL
