A music video aimed to promote Asher Roth's new single "Lark on My Go-Kart" has been premiered. Filmed as an animated video, it shows him as a cartoon character sitting on a couch and playing some video games.

"Lark on My Go-Kart" is one of the new materials, which will appears in Asher's upcoming debut studio album "Asleep in the Bread Aisle". The track produced by Oren Yoel and David Appleton will be available for digital purchase on March 24.

"Asleep in the Bread Aisle" itself is scheduled to hit U.S. market on April 21. Cee-Lo, Estelle, Chester French, Jazze Pha, Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne and Miguel have been recruited as guest stars in the new album.

In related news, Asher Roth has been lined up as one of the musical guests at 2009 SXSW Music Festival, which has been held from March 18 to March 22. He will perform at the event on Saturday, March 21 at Vice in Austin, Texas alongside Shiny Toy Guns, The Knux, Janelle Monae and many others.
