Via TMZ: Kobe Bryant and Vanessa are well on their way to becoming single … because we’ve learned Kobe has already transferred title on two of his mansions over to his soon-to-be ex-wife. TMZ has checked official records … which show on January 5th, Kobe surrendered his interest in 2 of their estates to Vanessa … on that same day Vanessa surrendered her interest in a 3rd home to Kobe. As far as who got what … the title transfers don’t list addresses, but our sources say Vanessa is now the full owner of the mansion she shared with Kobe in Newport Coast.

Michael-Bryant Hicks and Eve Runyon filed a lawsuit Tuesday (April 26) against Tracey Pennywell of Penny in the Well Productions over a botched concert which was scheduled to take place during the Soul Train Music Awards last year. According to the suit , filed in the Superior Court of Fulton Country for the State of Georgia, Pennywell claimed to have entered into a deal with the SoulTrain Productions to promote the concert.

Rubin previously worked with Metallica on its most recent album, 2008's "Death Magnetic." " "Rick, to me, he's sort of a Zen guru spirit that Metallica needs right now," Trujillo told 93.7 KCLB Rocks! Radio. Prior to recording the album, the band will be touring worldwide alongside other members of the Big Four (Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth).
