”MICHAEL JACKSON” song will be released New Song and Album in October (09) – almost four months after the KING OF POP’s death.
Boses at Sony Music have announced new single ”This Is It” will feature backing vocals from the star’s brothers and will hit shelves on 12 October (09).
It will then appear on a new two-disc album of the same name, set to go on sale later that month to coincide with the global premiere of Jackson’s ”This Is It” documentary, about his ill-fated comeback concerts.
It is believed the Thriller icon wrote the track, but it’s unclear when it was recorded.
Album co-producer John MCClain says, ”This song only defines, once again, what the world already knows – that Michael is one of God’s greatest gifts.”
Jackson died on 25 June (09). His death has since been ruled a homicide. The double album will be released worldwide on October 26 and in North America the following day.  source contactmusic.com
