May 30, 2010  Lena Meyer-Landrut - "Satellite" Germany is the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 winner, which was held in May 2010 in Oslo, Norway.

"After an exciting voting in front of 18,000 people in a fully packed Oslo Telenor Arena and millions of TV viewers all over Europe, it was finally Lena from Germany who received the highest number of points from televoters and juries from the 39 countries participating in this year's edition of Europe's Favourite TV-show! Germany managed to gather 246 points altogether, followed by maNga from Turkey with 170 points and Ovi & Paula Selling from Romania who collected 162 points".

March 14, 2010 Lena Meyer-Landrut - Satellite Germany song for ESC 2010. Meyer-Landrut emerged as the winner of the talent show contest Unser Star für Oslo (Our Star for Oslo) on 12 March 2010. The victory entitled her to represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Satellite" written by the American-Danish songwriter duo Julie Frost and John Gordon. The winning song and her tracks "Bee" and "Love Me", the latter co-written by her and German producer Stefan Raab, occupied the first three places on the German iTunes Store sales chart on the day after the national final.
